Pacific Boulevard Widening Design-Build RFP Posted

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking Proposals for the Pacific Boulevard Widening Design-Build Project from qualified and experienced respondents with design and construction experience of highway facilities.
The project is located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and includes widening Pacific Boulevard (Route 1036) from two to four lanes from the intersection of Relocation Drive (Route 775). The length of the project is approximately 0.4 mile. VDOT anticipates holding a Pre-Proposal meeting of potential Offerors on February 12, 2010 at the VDOT Northern Virginia District Office, 14685 Avion Parkway, Chantilly, VA at 10:00 AM prevailing local time.

Copies of the RFP and additional submittal requirements are anticipated to be posted on VDOT’s website February 1, 2010 at http://www.virginiadot.org/business/request-for-proposals.asp.
