WBCM, an Engineering News Record top 500 Firm, is excited to announce the opening of our second office in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The new office, located in Lexington Virginia, is right in the heart of Lexington’s Historic District. This expansion accommodates our growing regional influence and will allow us to better serve the Shenandoah Valley and the I-81 and I-64 corridors. The new address is 203 South Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450.
We are equally pleased to announce the addition of Thomas Marando, Jr., PE, as Director, Virginia Transportation. In this new role, he will work with James Holls, PE, PTOE, WBCM’s Regional Director of Transportation, to help grow our Virginia operations. Mr. Marando will be responsible for business development, project management, technical oversight, and quality control. He has nearly 20 years of experience as a Highway Engineer and Project Manager for various multi-modal projects throughout Virginia. Most recently, Mr. Marando served as the Assistant Location and Design Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Staunton District. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and is currently a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.
