Volkert, Inc. welcomes Jeff Cutright, PE, as the MidAtlantic Region’s Director of Municipal & Highway Engineering. He replaces Bobby Hester, PE, recently promoted to the MidAtlantic’s Chief Engineer.
Jeff spent 35 years at VDOT where he served in various roles, including Assistant State L&D Engineer, Project Management Office Director, and Program Manager for the Design and Special Projects group. His career has included design of urban and rural roadways, interchanges and interstates; and the management of large studies, including the Hampton Roads Third Crossing, Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion feasibility study, and the I-64 Environmental Impact Study from Richmond to Norfolk. He also served as VDOT coordinator for the Transportation Project Management Institute held at the University of Virginia.
