The ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to welcome three new Geotechnical Staff Project Managers to its Chantilly
office. Aidan McGregor began his career with ECS as a geotechnical intern prior to his hire as a permanent staff member. In
addition to geotechnical experience, he brings knowledge of transportation design, construction management and AutoCAD
to his new role. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Ezequiel Sepulveda’s background in geotechnical engineering includes soil mechanics, foundation design, earth retaining
structures/slope stability and engineering geology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering from
George Mason University and is pursuing graduate studies in Geotechnical Engineering.
Matthew Johnson will be involved in engineering and management of geotechnical explorations, which consist of performing
boring layouts, clearing utilities, supervising drilling operations, performing geophysical surveys, classifying soils, assigning
lab testing and preparing geotechnical reports. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from James Madison
University. He is a WACEL Level 1 Certified Concrete Technician and a WACEL Level 1 Certified Soils Technician.
