2017 Aggregate Safety Seminar – Fredericksburg

December 5 @ 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

175.00$ - 500.00$

This year’s seminar will focus on changes within MSHA, with emphasis on the new Administration.  We will also discuss the numerous safety resources the Division of Mineral Mining (DMM) offers.  Additional areas of focus will include tire safety, how to handle an MSHA inspection, Tier 4 safety issues and safe welding procedures in the workplace.  These topics are of critical importance to mining operators as well as contractors that perform work on MSHA and/or DMME regulated sites.

Additionally, there will be an afternoon panel discussion hosted by MSHA, DMM and guest speakers designed to discuss and answer questions related to regulatory and inspection matters.  DMM’s Phil Skorupa, Director, Vernon Harris, Inspector and MSHA’s Kevin Abel, Northeast Assistant District Manager, are scheduled to attend the seminar and lead the panel discussion.  This is a GREAT opportunity to engage the head MSHA personnel on your terms!
