2018 Aggregate Safety Seminar – Fredericksburg
December 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm$185.00 – $500.00
This year’s seminar will offer a wide range of important safety topics. Along with presentations from industry and health care professionals, MSHA and DMM will provide updates as to what’s new with the Regulatory Agencies. We will also discuss the numerous safety resources the Division of Mineral Mining (DMM) offers. Additional areas of focus will include safety glass systems, the latest in fall prevention equipment, new development in blasting safety, avoiding equipment operator fatigue and a legal perspective and potentially presentations from health care professionals on what to look for in impaired workers. These topics are of critical importance to mining operators as well as contractors that perform work on MSHA and/or DMME regulated sites. The information you receive will be beneficial in protecting your personnel, avoiding penalty assessments and ensuring the continued and safe running of your operations.
Additionally, there will be an afternoon panel discussion hosted by MSHA, DMM and guest speakers designed to discuss and answer questions related to regulatory and inspection matters.
