2019 Aggregate Safety Seminar – Roanoke

December 4 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$190.00 – $500.00

This year’s seminars will offer a wide range of important safety topics. Along with presentations from industry and health care professionals, MSHA and DMM will provide updates as to what’s new with the Regulatory Agencies.  We will also discuss the numerous safety resources the Division of Mineral Mining (DMM) offers.  Additional areas of focus will include collision avoidance, the impact of the legalization of marijuana and respirable crystalline silica concerns. These topics are of critical importance to mining operators as well as contractors that perform work on MSHA and/or DMME regulated sites.  The information you receive will be beneficial in protecting your personnel, avoiding penalty assessments and ensuring the continued and safe operation of your facilities.

Additionally, there will be an afternoon panel discussion hosted by MSHA, DMM and guest speakers designed to discuss and answer questions related to regulatory and inspection matters.
