2021 VTCA Fall Transportation Conference

The statewide conference and trade show for transportation contractors, aggregate producers, consultant engineers, material suppliers, and government transportation officials.

Focused solely on Virginia’s dynamic transportation program and the impact it has on the construction, engineering and aggregate industries, this conference focuses on the challenges of delivering one of the largest transportation programs in the country.  VDOT, Virginia’s localities and the transportation construction industry are in the spotlight to deliver the Commonwealth’s expanded transportation program without hesitation or delays.  With emphasis on the future of transportation and the successful delivery of the program, the conference includes multiple technical and business development sessions led by the industry’s most experienced leadership.  Join us during the conference’s trade show where representatives will be displaying the latest tools, materials and services available to facilitate your success.

Participation COVID Protocol Policy

We are looking forward to seeing you next week in-person at the Fall Transportation Conference in Norfolk.  We have another informative conference planned with great content and speakers lined up to better prepare you for future business opportunities!

Just as safety is your number one priority, we are committed to providing a safe environment for our members, guests, and staff while attending our events. With the recent increase in the community spread of COVID-19 infections, we are implementing the following requirements for all attendees of the VTCA Fall Transportation Conference:

1.  Consistent with CDC guidance for public indoor settlings, all attendees, regardless of vaccination status are expected to wear masks at all times while participating in indoor conference events and meetings. Masks may be removed when speaking or making presentations so that the speaker may be heard clearly.

2.  All attendees should either be fully vaccinated or have a negative test for COVID-19 no more than 72 hours prior to arrival.  Fully vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose vaccine series or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

3.  By participating you are affirming that you have not had in the last 14 days any of the following:

  • A fever of over 100.4°
  • Been in contact with anyone who has a confirmed positive test for COVID-19
  • Attended an event with a reported COVID-19 outbreak
  • Tested positive for COVID-19

4.  It is your responsibility to immediately leave the conference and return home if you are currently experiencing any known COVID-19 symptoms including new or worsening cough, fever of over 100.4°, shortness of breath, fever, or chills and notify VTCA as well as any individuals with whom you have had substantial contact as set forth by the CDC.

We are implementing these safety measures to mitigate risk where possible and ask for your cooperation.  Thank you.

 COVID-19 RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: By registering and attending a VTCA event/meeting or participating as a speaker or vendor you acknowledge that there is an unknown risk of exposure to COVID-19 through exposure to contaminated objects, as well as through personal contact. Such exposure carries with it a certain degree of risk that could result in illness, disability, or death.  You agree to release and hold harmless VTCA, its employees, officers, and vendors from and against all claims of damages and liability resulting from exposure to COVID-19. Registrants/Attendees, speakers and vendors agree to comply with all safety related requirements for attendees as set by VTCA and warrant they are abiding by their state/locality laws regarding COVID-19 restrictions.
