2026 Dialogue with the Hampton Roads District

Join us, along with industry peers, Hampton Roads District Staff and local leaders for education and networking at this year’s Hampton Roads District Dialogue.  The program will include insight into VDOT’s transportation program specific to the Hampton Roads District.  District Engineer Mike Davis will host this year’s dialogue and provide a strategic overview of District priorities.  Mike will be joined by Todd Halacy, HRTAC, to highlight other regional initiatives.  Following the afternoon break, representatives from Virginia Beach, Newport News, and Isle of Wight County will showcase their local programs.  VTCA’s Gordon Dixon will quickly cover results of the recent elections as part of VTCA’s legislative update and then introduce a panel of industry leaders who will share perspectives from VTCA’s three primary member sectors – Contractors, Engineers, and Aggregate Producers. 

This year, we will be holding the program in the afternoon and ending the event with a special networking reception to meet face-to-face with industry and VDOT program staff.

The Dialogue with the Hampton Roads District is Sold Out.  Please contact Dana Morris to be placed on a wait list for possible cancellations.  We will not be accepting onsite registrations.

Locality representatives interested in attending should contact VTCA directly to obtain the appropriate locality registration materials as they can not register online.  Please contact Dana Morris at VTCA with any questions. 

Cancellation Policy: Refunds, less a $25 administrative fee, are available when cancellations are received prior to the close of business on October 28, 2026.  Cancellations received after October 28 are not eligible for refunds; however, substitutions are encouraged!
