Safety is No Joke: Join Us for the MSHA Stakeholder Seminar this April
While April 1st is usually reserved for pranks, the Southeast Region aggregates industry is focusing on something much more serious: the health and safety of our workforce. We are cutting through the noise to bring you the most critical updates in mine safety.
The Georgia Crushed Stone Association (GCAA), South Carolina Aggregates Association (SCAA), Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA), and North Carolina Aggregates Association (NCAA) are proud to host the MSHA Stakeholder Safety and Health Seminar in Charlotte, NC. This full-day event is designed for owners, CEOs, managers, and anyone who interacts with MSHA on a daily basis.
Inside the Agenda: From the Quarry to the Boardroom
The seminar kicks off bright and early with an exclusive Quarry Tour and Roundtable Discussion at Martin Marietta’s Charlotte Quarry. Please note that attendees must be pre-registered to catch the bus, which departs the hotel at 7:45 AM sharp.
Following a networking lunch buffet back at the hotel, the afternoon session pivots to high-level stakeholder updates. We are honored to feature Wayne Palmer, Assistant Secretary of MSHA, who will provide a direct MSHA update and participate in a candid state panel discussion.
