VTCA Dialogue with the Western Districts

For the first time ever, join leadership and staff from not just one, but four western VDOT Districts – Bristol, Salem, and Lynchburg (with special guest, Staunton) - for the Western District Dialogue.  Gather with your industry peers, VDOT’s District staff leadership and local government leaders for networking, education, and discussion at the Hotel Roanoke.

Bristol District Engineer, Tabitha Crowder, Lynchburg District Engineer, Christopher Winstead, and Salem District Engineer, Ken King, will cohost the program and share their respective leadership vision and partnering philosophies. Gordon Dixon will summarize the 2026 Session of the General Assembly and goals from the new Administration and highlight Virginia transportation implications of new federal initiatives. Other expected features include an update on the I-81 Corridor, developments out of the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, and highlights of local projects of regional significance. Finally, a panel of industry leaders will share perspectives from VTCA’s three primary member sectors – Contractors, Engineers, and Aggregate Producers.

Registration for this expanded program will start at 8:30 with a formal program that kicks off at 10.  A relaxed luncheon will precede a full afternoon program. The event will conclude with a networking reception where participants can continue conversations with industry and VDOT program staff.

 Cancellation Policy: Refunds, less a $25 administrative fee, are available when cancellations are received prior to the close of business April 15, 2026.  Cancellations received after April 15 are not eligible for refunds, however, substitutions are encouraged!

Various sponsorships are available to demonstrate your company’s support and engagement including the networking break and the reception refreshments.  All sponsors will be recognized for their commitment by having their company name/logo listed on the conference platform as well as on signs at the function.  Sponsorship is for VTCA Members Only.
