Michael Perrotta

Mr. Perrotta is a Senior Vice President and multi-modal transportation engineer and planner at Athavale, Lystad & Associates, Inc., leading the Civil Engineering Group. He has experience managing transportation improvement projects, infrastructure expansion and comprehensive corridor studies. He has served as both a project manager and lead project planner and engineer overseeing alternatives development and analysis, coordination of public involvement programs, and liaison with governmental agencies. His projects have included evaluation of transportation mobility and accessibility needs of residents and commuters as well as pedestrian and bicycle connectivity; and planning and design services for improved roadway safety including traffic calming alternatives analysis and design, roadway/geometric modification design, traffic control device design and signing and marking design. He is familiar with public agency policies and procedures with regard to the preparation of design documents and has comprehensive knowledge of the permitting process, standards and regulations of DOT’s, federal, state and local permitting agencies
