VA Energy - Proposed Changes to DMM Mineral Mines Operator's Manual

Virginia Energy has initiated the public comment period for the revision to the guidance document - DMM Mineral Mine Operator’s Manual related to updating and streamlining guidance, simplifying regulations, and eliminating redundancies. The new guidance document should ensure ease of use and compliance. While the document is shorter and more streamlined, there were no significant changes to regulatory requirements.

The Proposed Mineral Mine Operator's Manual was published in the Virginia Register on May 5, which officially opened the public comment period. The public comment period closes on June 4, 2025. Additionally, the current version of the Mineral Mine Operator's Manual is available thru this link for reference.

Unfortunately, Virginia Energy does not have a summary of the proposed changes.
