Lisa Wagman Glezer Named President of Wagman, Inc.

Wagman, Inc. announces Lisa Wagman Glezer, part of the fourth generation leadership at Wagman, has been named President of Wagman, Inc., the holding and management company for Wagman Construction, Inc. and Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. Lisa was previously Senior Vice President and has been with the company for over 20 years. In 2018, Lisa was named to Wagman’s Board of Directors which includes six outside board members.

“This promotion is in recognition of her increased leadership and ownership responsibilities, both internally and externally, with the full support of our Board of Directors” states Rich Wagman, Chairman of Wagman, Inc. “Lisa has been working with the executive team on many strategic goals, all while leading the company through a pandemic. She has spearheaded much of our coordination in response to COVID-19 while balancing a deliberate focus on recruiting and retention and creating a rewarding work environment that maintains our core values and culture, all to make Wagman the employer of choice and succeed as a valued partner with clients in the markets we serve.” Wagman adds, “Nothing has made me prouder than to see the progression of such a smooth and successful transition of the company to the fourth generation.”

Lisa is also actively engaged within the industry and community. She is currently Board Chair of the Transportation Construction Industries PAC (TCI-PAC) and serves on the Board of Directors for Associated Pennsylvania Constructors and Leg Up Farm. In addition, she is on the York County Capital Campaign Advisory Committee, and other community advisory committees. She is a founding member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) South Central PA Chapter and the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA) – Women in Construction Committee in Virginia.

Lisa was among 12 women inducted into the inaugural “Circle of Excellence” at the 2019 Central Penn Business Journal’s 2019 Women of Influence Award. She previously was recognized among Central Penn Business Journal’s 2016 Women of Influence.

Lisa received her B.A. from the University of Delaware. She started her career in business and management in Boston, MA prior to joining the family business in 2001.

Mike Glezer, previously President & CEO of Wagman, Inc. is retaining his role as CEO. It was recently announced that Jan Wagner was named President of Wagman Construction, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Wagman, Inc.

Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction, and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is celebrating 120 years in business. Wagman is a fourth generation, family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia and is headquartered in York, Pa.
