Northern Virginia District Engineer Bill Cuttler Receives National ASHE "Person of the Year" Award

VTCA congratulates Northern Virginia District Engineer Bill Cuttler, P.E. on receiving the prestigious 2026 Robert E. Pearson "Person of the Year" Award at the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) National Conference.

Presented annually, the Robert E. Pearson "Person of the Year" Award recognizes a transportation engineering professional who has made a significant impact on the highway industry through outstanding leadership, active involvement in professional organizations, dedicated service beyond the workplace, and the respect and admiration of industry peers.

Bill was honored for his exceptional leadership of VDOT's Northern Virginia District and for guiding his team in delivering transportation solutions that serve one of Virginia's busiest and most complex regions. Despite the recognition, Bill remains characteristically humble, crediting the achievement to those around him.
