VDOT Names New Assistant State Construction Engineer

VDOT has announced that Suril Shah, P.E., DBIA, has been selected as the Assistant State Construction Engineer for Contract Administration and will begin working in the Construction Division on January 25. 
  
Suril is a Virginia Tech graduate with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He most recently served in the Alternative Project Delivery Division, where he led statewide efforts in Design-Build project delivery. Prior to that, Suril held a project management role within the Northern Virginia Mega Projects program, overseeing and supporting major initiatives such as the I95 and I495 Express Lanes. In addition to his experience in contract development and administration, Suril played a key role in consultant procurement and administration of professional services contracts across multiple programs.
