Virginia Department of Commerce & Trade Names Acting Director of Virginia Department of Energy

Mike Skiffington has been named the acting Director of the Virginia Department of Energy. Mike is very familiar to the mining industry in Virginia as he has served in many roles with Virginia Energy and DMME prior to the rebranding. VTCA has already reached out to Mike, and we are working to set up a meeting with the Director. We have worked closely with Mike, especially when he was the Director of Policy & Planning at DMM.  

We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with Mike and the Virginia Department of  Energy.
