VTCA and VA Energy Presents Individual Safety Awards at Two Vulcan Facilities
The Individual Safety Awards is a VTCA and Virginia Energy – Mineral Mining program that recognizes miners for achieving years of service milestones without a lost time accident. The 2024 awards recognized 98 miners for working safely without a lost time injury for 15, 20, 25, 30, 35+, 40+ and 45+ years. These 98 miners have worked a cumulative total of 2,899 years without a lost time injury.
The most recent presentations were to miners with Vulcan Materials Puddledock Plant and Graham, VA Quarry.
